Fijn gemalen parels worden al meer dan 3000 jaar gebruikt als natuurlijk schoonheidsmiddel ter versteviging en bescherming van de huid en in de heelkunde.
In Japan, van oudsher een ‘parelland’ wordt parelpoeder ingezet in de strijd tegen het natuurlijke verouderingsproces van de huid.
Het parelpoeder is afkomstig van wilde parels.
De kwaliteit en het uiterlijk van gekweekte parels en wilde parels zijn verschillend. Kunstmatig gekweekte parels worden door kunstmatige ingrepen geleid tot de synthese van de parelmoersubstantie uit de mosselen, zodat kunstmatig gekweekte parels meestal regelmatiger, glanzender en mooier van vorm en glans zijn dan wilde parels. Wilde parels daarentegen worden van nature gevormd en worden beïnvloed door vele factoren, zoals het zeewater waarin ze worden verzameld, het type schelp, enz., dus er kunnen verschillen zijn in grootte, vorm, kleur en glans, die ook de kwaliteit en het uiterlijk van het poeder kunnen beïnvloeden.
Parelpoeder bevat 20 aminozuren en zeer veel sporenelementen zoals zink, lithium, fosfor, jodium, ijzer en magnesium.
Een mespuntje parelpoeder kan aan de dagelijkse hoeveelheid dag- of nachtcrème toegevoegd worden, het poeder lost direct in de crème op en trekt na het aanbrengen op de huid snel in.
De dosering is 1 maatlepel op 50 gram eindproduct. Niet oplosbaar in water!

Eye Contact
Check for and remove any contact lenses. In case of contact, immediately flush eyes with  plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Cold water may be used. Get medical attention.

If inhaled, remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult,  give oxygen. Get medical attention.
